The Women of Spirit's The Second Half of Life Discussion with Kathy Palazzolo-Miller as facilitator was held November 10, 2007. Fourteen women from St. Andrews attended this delightful day at The Inn at the Rustic Gate. Those who attended enjoyed wonderful fellowship, fantastic food, and an enjoyable walk in the woods on a beautiful Fall day.


Those who attended expressed the following regarding what they liked about the day on their evaluation sheets:

  • the sharing of life events and ideas
  • the opportunity to visit with the group
  • the place, the speaker
  • the “easiness” of the day. It was non-threatening
  • great presentation, wonderful fellowship
  • interaction of the group
  • the openness of discussion
  • shared experiences and how the facilitator provided a level of comfort so no one seemed reluctant to share
  • the comradeship; the interaction, the exploration of others thoughts and feelings
